So my desktop decided it would be fun to get into an unworkable state. I got malware from a program called security tools--an obviously fake spyware and virus detector program. I removed it four times, did three system restores and it's at the point where the desktop works for 10 mins and then freezes and doesn't work and has to be manually shut down. I tried to go into safe mode to remove it manually and it blue screened...several times. That was fun so I shut down, stole my sister's laptop to write this journal and then tried to get the desktop to work again. I think I may have to factory restore. I lose all my things...but, it'll work. So, I'm thinking about what I can do at this point. I don't understand it either. I have some of the most upgraded software for malware, rootkits and viruses. So, it shouldn't have died. I believe it was either an old AOL program or IE (which is non removable no matter what I do because it's in the system fucking IE) which let in rootkits and I can't believe my virus protection didn't pick it up considering I run three scans every five hours. Technology hates me so bad. I'm nice to it and it just hates me. So, when I get two-fifty the first thing I'm going to do is get my laptop fixed. I'm going to call Dell later and have them come over at the most inconvenient time for them and take a look at my other laptop so I can at least have ONE working computer. So, till then, try not to throw too many things at me. Lol. I look forward to a trillion updates...lol...
